Geo Alarm - location guru lite app for iPhone and iPad

Geo Alarm might be the solution for you. Geo Alarm is a location based alarm - it starts ringing when you cross specified perimeter around the selected location.

To setup the alarm you select a location where you are traveling and the distance how far ahead you want to be notified. You can choose either the battery economy mode or the precision mode. The former one uses very little of the phone battery but might take up to 5 minutes to deliver the notification after crossing selected boundary. The precision mode uses real time GPS data - it alerts you immediately after crossing the boundary but it is more battery costly.

It works fully on background. You dont have to worry about having the application on screen or the phone unlocked. Just set up your Geo Alarm, choose ring tone and never worry about little nap during your journey.
